didnt do much to engine this winter, reshimed head and degree cams, install new cam chain.
take out tranny and check all gears and dogs , every thing looks good , so back in we go.
changed out shift arm and linkage my old one looks streched.
compression still good, so will try to run another year.

first time out early may to byhalia, noth'in but trouble,, new chain streched like crap,, jump out of third
during burn out,, then did not want to shift,, finaly got it in gear left the line spinnin and sideways, tearable run
next time trial,, jump out of gear during burn out ,,, then would not shift into first. must have bent shift fork???

sunday mornin,,, take off oil pan,, no broke gears,, check shift linkage,, its not rollin the drum,, crap this newer lookin linkage is not workin that i just put in,,, put old linkage back in the one that looks streched
and i shifts perfect,,, put every thing back together,, burn out on drive,, seems fine.works

back to memphis thu test,, bike runs and shifts perfect,, runs 8.72   147mph,,, easy pass to break in
cam chain,,, rear chain did not strech properly and has a tight spot,,, this is probably slowing me
down,,,last year ran 8.68,,, tire is now wore out made two passes., hurt my bad back

was going to red river la, but back is hurting to bad,, bad disc had to lay up at home for three days.

next to st louis, mo,,, great track,,, bike ran flawless, but a little slow strong head wind, 8.90 first pass,
8.89,8.90,,,dial 8.90 for gamblers race,, ran 8.901,,,next round ran 8.78 breakout..
sunday idba i qualifed no 1 with 5.03 reaction,, dial 8.84 run 8.75  break out, the wind changed and was pushing me faster.,, had some good 60fts  1.26 ,, mph was down due to wind and running 44th rear spk.,
works great out of the hole 7500 launch and 10250 shift  7" rear tire

did not race any more this year , im building a new house and a 1/4mile long driveway thru woods,
this has taken all my time the rest of year,,, hope to be out next year...
